However, you cant always blame the petshop for the condition of the animals they recieve, or for not housing them in giant pastures until sold. Unfortunately, thats the way it is. It would be great for folks to go to Tortoise organizations/farms like this to actually see the optimum way to keep these animals. I would worry if these animals can always be accounted for and not establish themselves in the wilds of Iowa undetected. Still, I like the idea of the organization and wish it much success.
