I have a general question about which snake I should get. I want something that is at least somewhat arboreal, does not get too long (4-8ft), and is not too aggressive (I know ball pythons and such are good for that, but I do want something arboreal). I have done some research and it seems like a carpet python may be a good choice. I have not found anything that compares the two, but it seems to be a bit less aggressive than emerald tree boas. Does anyone have a say into that? When I look into care sheets, I see mixed ideas. Also, please don't tell me that anything can be tamed with a lot of handling. I have a Weber's sailfin dragon and that experience has been a nightmare because people said it could get tamed with enough handling. If holding something 1-2 times a week does is not good enough to tame something, then I don't think I want it. In general which snake makes a better pet for what I'm looking for? Any not boa/python suggestions will be happily taken as well. Thanks.
