Dude, I'm directing you to "THE LAW FORUM" What is so sense-less about that? GOOD GRIEF CHARLEY BROWN! EVERYONE knows that the 4" Turtle law from our good friends at the Federal Gov.includes tortoises,so it "makes sense" that they could be lumped together here too. When I asked a under cover Federal agent (in a purple dress) that just flashed a badge in my face at a reptile expo about this she said agents would not know turtles from tortoises, so they were included in a ban on water turtles being sold under 4". Many times adults at the air cargo counter ask, what is a tortoise, when they see my box marked LIVE TORTOISE. This happened so much I mark them all "baby turtles" now.
