egg temp and sex of hatchlings

I have a breeding pair that has produced 5 generations of healthy cresteds. Without fail, each generation produces one male and one female gecko. My incubation temp. is 78 degrees F. Is this the norm? Is it just a coincidence, and does temp. play a part in this? Thank you!
