I admire the concrete stats. They offer what looks like quite a successful set-up.

I just hate aspen bedding and would take the more humid cypress any day. And ceramic water bowls drive me crazy. Any porous material I don't think is suitable. There are lots of heavy glass varieties available. You can sterilize these much easier.

These are just matters of opinion, and I only offer it to add to an excellent plate of advice you provided. P.S. the snake in your photo is amazing!
