I had one for awhile but traded it in for a smaller python sp (Childrens python) just because the childreni fit my conditions better (where I live the ambient humidity can be a bit on the low side.)
However, the Savu was a real pleasure. Needed more humidity than the childreni, but aside from that was easy to maintain. Really neat color too with a very mottled pattern on the sides and dark color on top. The eyes are just wicked. Great snake for sure, just easier for me to maintain the childrens for reasons mentioned, so I made the trade. (Childrens pythons are drab in color, but they survive all of the husbandry mistakes once can muster!) ----- Mark
