I just think your snake would be happier with deep bedding, vs. sand and the screen top does nothing for air low in the cage,ambieant heat is collected and unescapable unless it climbs to the top and near to the screen, oh and my cages are on a black table, the long oak stick is for my Cayman cross Iguana to desend to the ground...
