This is a very old, worn-smooth female I have had for 6 years, another adult female i have had for six years, and a 6.5 year old male I raised from an egg. In any case, the "younger" of the two females was above ground, but still had not moved from her spot when an egg "appeared" behind her. This was not part of a normal nesting, obviously.
