>>Is it possible? My dh is allergic to mice.I do breed a few rats but only indoors.I need mice for my smaller snakes. Can I breed them outside in a shed? I can easily keep them warm in winter but Im worried about the heat in summer?

Heat will kill them before the cold. Then there is the pests....bugs and other vermin getting to and into them. I worked in a pet store that had a vermin problem too and at night the wild rats would come in and chew parts off the caged rats through the bars.(feet and tails mostly) Learned this by staking out the place one week.

So if you can control vermin, bugs and temps over say 78 you could do it.
