Posted by: boxienuts at Wed Mar 31 22:18:14 2010 [ Report Abuse ] [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by boxienuts ] I live in Iowa. as far as non-captives there are reports of an isolated pocket of ornates supposedly only a couple miles from my house near a river, but they are very rare in not gone completely, and I turkey and deer hunt there and have never seen one. There are also ornates on the other side of the state in the southwest part of Iowa near Nebraska border.
