Crested gecko eggs do need a fair amount of humidity to incubate fully. Its always recommended to have an egg laying box in the cage with damp sand/soil mix or even damp coconut husk fiber (ie 'bed a beast' is one brand name for it..coir is the technical name..basically it comes in a brick you add water to, and the brick expands more than ten times in size...so its light and fluffy.) Eggs should be transferred into a deli dish with a vermiculite/water mixed in equal parts by weight (ie 50g of vermiculate to 50g of water) Crested gecko eggs can be incubated at room temperature...anywhere between 70-78F. I typically incubate between 73-75F which is pretty much my room temperature. [ Reply To This Message ] [ Subscribe to this Thread ] [ Show Entire Thread ] | ||
