I have been pairing my male stripe het anery with my anery female since 3/30. i went in to separate the two to feed them and the female starts thrashing. i had my previous female do that when she was touched while she was gravid, but she was not touched in any way and did it several more times. i separated them and attempted feeding both. the female ate. i checked back on her and she seems unusually large for having only eaten a large mouse ( normally she is eating small rats ) her last weigh in on 1/15 she was 580g and she has had 11 meals since then, all but two have been small rats. i did not witness courtship or mating as i did with the previous pair. but these are in a rack system and the last two were in a glass aquarium and were visible 24/7.
