I really like the roll on "Rhyno Liner" stuff. I use it in all of my enclosures and have had no problems.

Something you can do, in your basement, which we did with a few before we made the new setups.

Use concrete blocks to frame out the enclosure/pond. Cement them together and in place. Set it up with the lay out area and pond and then coat all of it in the liner. Like with ours, if you are going to use sand or dirt on the layout, make a lip so that it holds most of the sand from being drug into the pond.
