It's been about 5 years since I purposely bred my leopard geckos. About a month ago I took out my female gecko, after noticing her sides bulging. She was definately gravid. That night she laid the eggs after I placed a nest box in for her.

Anyways, since it's been so long I am rusty on how to incubate them. Luckly I still had my Little Giant chicken incubator, and I had set it up a few hours before my gecko laid her eggs. Anyways, I'm using vermiculite for the first time. I used to use perlite or peat moss with great results.
Now I'm not so sure. Both eggs are nice and firm (like they should be) but one was glowing reddish, I could see small veins, and I say was, because it has changed to slight yellowing, or maybe the veins are growing more. The other eggs, also firm, has no sign of veins. So finally my question is, are my eggs any good, are they dying. I plan on keeping them going until I know for sure, whether that means the go "soggy" and sink in, or mold.
