The oil is dispersing, which is actually very bad. It never ever goes away. The oil burned lands in your water supply somewhere. The ten foot thick layer of ooze on the sea floor will be there and gradually spread out to cover the bottom all the way to Cuba. This one oil accident will put this oil into every living creature on earth eventually. How vulnerable are these rigs to a terrorist attack? Imagine a speedboat and a shoulder fired rocket launcher taking out four of these things in one easy attack. Our dependence on this poison is going to wipe humans from this planet. The same people who can’t see that coming also never saw this disaster looming. Worrying about pythons in the Everglades instead of issues like this is just madness. We have got to stop re-electing these knuckleheads. [ Reply To This Message ] [ Subscribe to this Thread ] [ Show Entire Thread ] | ||
