They can be great pythons to keep. They are very allert pythons like the rest of the amethistina complex. They are the smallest as well and you can breed them at very small sizes like between green tree and Carpet pythons size adults. I was the 4th person to breed the species and the first to breed f1s from unrellated adults. I proved that patternless as well as the Axanthic trait were recessive genes. They are easy to keep not so much to breed but if you do not keep your adults to hot and do not overfeed them I think they will prove to not be as hard as they were years ago.
