Sounds like a snake is for me. I already knew that, but was trying to be open-minded about lizards for my husband's sake. After posting on the gecko thread, I realized the temperature thing wouldn't work for us anyway in regards to crested geckos. We have hot CA summers with no central AC, and those geckos can die if it gets over 80. I'm sure a snake could tough out an 85 degree living room better.
