I don't have a lot of experience with this species. I believe the same basic sexing guidelines for most turtles apply to this species. A concave plastron and a longer tail with the vent placed further back indicate a male. A flat or convex plastron with the vent placed at the base of a shorter tail indicate a female. Comparing them to one another should be the easiest way to sex them.
