He's an F1 baby male, Tulare County in the Sierra-Nevada range, and is from a population that typically has high-black w/ really good white. Sierra zonata can vary quite a bit from population to population within their vast range.
This little male eats voraciously. His eventual mate looks almost siimilar to him, but just not as symmetrical. This is my younger pair, and the adult pair is also from Tulare (pictured above). Glad you like him!  ----- Jerry Kruse www.zonatas.com
