the cold snap killed most of them. Who is just making up these numbers, numbers that don't even jive with the pre-cold snap exaggerations??? Unbelievable.

On a more serious note, what's this all about:

"While Florida wildlife officials managed to bag about 200 snakes, the licensed hunters came up empty."

Are the "wildlife officials" keeping the good spots to themselves?? If so, what's the point of giving out a few python hunting licenses? Is Florida that hard up for cash??
