put 7- 50lb bags of sand to make a nice nesting and basking area on the north side of the pen (hopefully) and added a pile of composted hardwood mulch/peat moss mix topped with a pile driftwood which is what they are used to sleeping and hiding under. Put them in yesterday and they seemed to like it. I did put up a two wire electric fence around the pen later in the day and I put it on a timer to run at night, will get a pic of the fence soon, did not test it out (wasn't that brave, lol) but plan to get a fence tester to make sure its working.
