Dido that,and you can get all kinds of gizmos that are cordless and monitor the temps without opening it up. Incase your one of thouse people that "gata no" about every five minutes. The room temp must always be cooler than the incubator temp. This year I put a small window AC in the room with the incubator. They also take a while to "set" to the desired temp. You have to spend some time finding the sweet spot. Its always more intence when you already have the eggs in it and your still fooling around with it! BEST OF LUCK and pay the electric bill on time! And most of all WORRY! Put CAUTION TAPE around it. VM
