The surrounding area is somewhat urbanized but there is still some woods. I was happy to find this healthy, young adult female soaking in a puddle left in a low area on site. She had the finest sprinkling of orange speckles on her shell. Not gaudy, but a pretty individual as are most EBTs. Hopefully she will stick around and lay eggs in this area too.
