That's great! It's amazing how they can be found so close to urbanized areas up there. I almost wonder if there is a "selection" of non-wanderers, since many areas of NJ have been built up for quite some time.

I used to spend a ton of time around certain tributaries of the Delaware in South Jersey, fishing for bass and catfish. My favorite was Crosswick's Creek (long time ago, spelling may be off) near Bordentown. We would commonly see box turtles in certain areas. It's nice to think that they may still be there.
