To be sure, to be sure...but how many snakes get dumped because of a lack of a lucky safety net in the form of people willing to take them in?

That there even are rescuers is a cause for praise, but the fact remains that there are still keepers out there who are willing to simply dump their animals.

I'm all for looking at the bright side, but it's a little naive to ignore the negative side, don't you think?
