After feeding my panther a few superworms this morning I went on to feed some of my other reptiles. When I was walking back by his cage I noticed his eye was bleeding and he had whiped it all over his branches. It had only been maybe 5 minutes since I feed him, and his eye was already scabbed shut.

I immediately got a moistened warm cloth to hold on it for a sec and get some of the access scab off. I do not know if its his actual eye that is bleeding or just eye lid. Im going to get some of the reptile med stuff from petco to try and keep it from getting an infection. and go to the vet and get a shot of batrill if it does seem to get infected. anything else I should do?

Also do you guys think it could be the superworm that bit him? He usually hits them so hard they dont have a chance to even bite his mouth, but after he got the last one I walked off. Has anyone experienced anything like this before?
