Here is a photo of my box turtle pen and garden.
The walls are made out of 2 X 8 treated barn siding suitable for setting on the ground, around the bottom I attached a piece of hardware screen, plastic, about 6 inches deep so the turtles can't dig under. There are 3 ponds, big planter bottoms, for drinking and hanging out. There are also half pipe lengths, a 9 inch plastic pipe, cut in half and set around the garden under various plants. The turtles like to get inside and look out. There is a 1 foot buffer along the walls from the edge of the garden plus a larger area at one end for the turtles "open area". There are 2 blueberry bushes and the usual garden veggies, tomatoes, green peppers, cucumbers, cabbage and carrots. The dimensions are roughly about 18 x 10 feet for my turtles.
