Phymaturus verdugo

I just ran across a picture of a liolaemine lizard from South America that looks like a psychodelic Chuckwalla, is herbivorous, and live-bearing--the Phymaturus verdugo. If it were all black, you'd swear it was a Chuckwalla! Anybody know anything about these lizards? I think they may come from rock outcroppings of the Atacama desert in Chile, but not sure.
