I once placed a retic in a Rubbermaid container at feeding time. In the bottom of the container was a small purple towel. I put the snake in the container then fed it a dead chicken. The towel evidently got caught on the chicken somehow and the snake swallowed the towel with the chicken. I didn't notice it until about three days later when the snake passed the towel in its entirety. The towel, other than being a little stinky, was unharmed. I still threw it away, though.
