Thanks! Wouldn't count those young lizards out bro! I'm fairly certain this is a more normal breeding time for beadeds. My girl thought she was a gila monster! I wanted to see how early I could produce lizards to get one over on the competition eventually. I may pair up some my other lizards this week too.

I don't think a dramatic cooling is needed for beadeds at all. I brumated mine for 2 1/2 months at room temps in my basement 65-75 degrees, my male was obviously fertile.

This females only 2 1/2 years old. I fed her really well her whole life, still I'd say shes only 75% grown. She layed 9 eggs total all but one are healthy. I definitely took its toll on her though. I'd reccomend waiting another year for others. Very few people respect the metabolic demand of a beaded. IMO

Good luck! Don't beleive all the hype!

peace
