I recently purchased a 6-foot Dumerils along with a Boamaster 4x2 plastic cage. I like the cage, but I'm concerned that my snake could "lift and push out" one of the sliding doors. I have four children under the age of ten, including a 3-year old.

I put a metal lock on the doors to keep them from opening; but I can still place my hands on one door, lift up and then pull out to remove the door--even if the lock is secure.

I've tried to do the same from the inside of the cage where the snake is and with some work, I can get the door to come out. Now I'm worried that the snake could do the same.

For those of you who have kept snakes for a while--and have actually seen or own a Boamaster plastic cage--do you think it's possible for a snake to get out as I described above?
