I am wondering if the large number of young in that size female could have contributed to the stillbirth issue you experienced. I’ve heard of a few other cases where overly large litters for a female’s size has produced excessive numbers of stillborn neonates. However, I have experienced the issue of delayed release of ova with a couple of my female greens. They expelled a small number of unfertilized ova for several weeks after the birth of the young, but I did not see any full term neonates expelled during this period.
