I had a group that was breeding prolifically about 6 years ago. I did have a greater "death at hatching" rate than with any other species I have ever bred. *The eggshells were so perfectly round and HARD that I believe many babies had a difficult time breaking free. Captive populations may have been given too much supplemental calcium. Sadly I sold my entire group. Wish they were still around.
