He's in a 10 gallon tank with a mix of moss and peat for his substrate. This is what was suggested by the person I spoke with at the reptile show. He has a big water bowl in one side that is large and deep enough for him to get into and soak if he chooses.

I am not certain about the humidity exactly, but I am misting him and his habitat 2x-3x per day with distilled water. He is at room temp which is about 72. I've read conflicting things about whether or not he needs a heater, so I will be glad to hear that from an expert! Also, does he require special lighting? Some care sheets say yes and others say no.

He ate a killed fuzzy today (from tongs), so I guess he's feeling alright. I am not sure about how/when to clean and replace substrate since he pretty much stays hunkered down in the same spot.

Thanks in advance for any/all advice!

Jan
