I have a 2 week old Crotalus molossus X altrox that has not eaten yet. Tried 2 wee little live pinkies and not even a bite. Second one is still alive.

Temps do get to 100F at the hot spot. Should it be hotter?

I have no intentions to force feed this one for the 2 obvious reasons. #1 um venom, #2 body damage to the snake.

I did dangle the pinkie with tongs today and now I have venom drops on the glass and a bitten pinkie.

Do I just use latex gloves and paper towels to clean this up? What else to remove to venom residue?
