We get the same thing in our breeder rat rack from time to time. Fruit flys suck because they breed exonentially, for all practical purposes. They mature sexually so fast it's not even worth mentioning, and theey can get in anywherfe.

What you need tgo do is eliminate their food source. Thus if they are eating amphibian eggs, you need to transfer them all into a known-clean enclosure if possible. After that, totally seal the old tank with strech wrap or something similar and let them all die out. Poisons can come back to haunt you later, so this is the only clean method I know of.

I know it's far from an ideal solution, but it's the only good shot I know of.
