Please read and understand entire post before responding.

I understand that you should never feed torts grass or weeds from a lawn that has been sprayed with chemicals to control weeds.

4 months ago I put in a new lawn from scratch. I brought in new dirt and sprayed it with grass feed granuals before I seeded it. That's the extent of chemical treatment that it has ever received. After all this time, with daily waterings, I'd imagine that the chemical feed I added has been pretty deluded. The grass has come in well.

My question is this: since nothing has ever been sprayed on the new grass (and subsequent weeds), am I correct in assuming that it's ok to let the torts roam the grass and eat what they want?
