My understanding of it is that they do shed 15 to thirty days before laying the vast majority of the time. sounds to me like your girl might be a rare exception. My female shed 15 days before laying, and then 15 days after she laid just after eating her first meal. Two sheds within thirty days. That surprised me. I would look for a shed cycle with your girl, but dont expect one. Best of luck to ya. Hope you get lots of nice full eggs. Keep us updated!
