Most often than not they'll got through a pre lay shed 14 to 21 days before laying. Some females will lay without the shed though. If you've seen ovulation you should expect eggs 40 to 45 days after. The female will get restless and search for a suitable nest site about a week prior so keep an eye out. It wont hurt to have a nest box in there so you might want to add one anyway. Good luck
