This was one of those impulse buys.Ive always wanted another carpet python and well this one presented itself and I couldnt resist(none of my other snakes are petstore snakes so this is a first).My last one was a coastal mix and was the meanest snake alive.I got bit no less then 15 times every time I picked it up..Unfortunately it met with an untimely death, got out and got squished.
this new one is way mellow compared to my last.He/she has struck out a few times but that was it, hasnt bit me yet.Im leaving it alone for a week now so it can acclimate.
