Today I was pulling some weeds that were getting out of control in the new box turtle pen and when I pulled up a big clump of crabgrass there was a nest of eggs under it. There is 4 eggs that candled with good veins and one that I am pretty sure is a dud because it is dented in and I couldn't see any veins, but I will give it a week to be sure. Hopefully the other 4 will hatch out in a couple months, can't wait to see the buggers, it's been a long time since I have had hatchling box turtles, ironically my 3 stripe mud turtle eggs are hatching this weekend two out of the egg so far and 4 more to go!!!
