What is the appropriate medium for a chuck to lay in. I have a gravid female which i brought into a terrerium from outside (the 250lb rocks would be tough to move carefully). Just want to give her the best laying site possible. Thank you for any help. Also, my collards were laying eggs all over the place. like on top of rocks, food dish, water dish. Does anyone know why they would do this. I had two hides with moist vermaculite in their enclosure.
