>>I agree, John. I used to get bored when I looked at these bright orange thayeri....they reminded me of corn snakes. >>However...an exceptionally bright orange thayeri from the best lines is something to behold. Although I prefer more wild-type coloration, I can't pretend that these guys don't draw me in and bewitch me. I guess it's just the power of the orange Tang..........or of my hubby who tells me I must keep all the bright orange ones! >>-----
Those orange ones are what drew me into thayeri....... Then it was the yellow ones.......I love seeing pics of Mike Bodner's yellow thayeri........ When I was out of the loop for a few years the "wild-type" look came back into being.....I like them alot myself, but still am amazed at the new aberrants popping up.......
Maybe eventually we will see another true amel thayeri....Now that there is no new blood and we are breeding from the same stock for about 30 years now.......
BTW....Glad to see the forum going again.... As long as no one brings up that "P" word again I think all is fine......LOL We are stuck with what we got....... ----- John Lassiter Poor planning and procrastination on your part does not constitute an emergency on my part... www.coastalbendcaptivebreeding.com
