This area also receives several feet of snow each winter as well. While the Diamond’s inhabit the lower elevations of this plateau region, they are still routinely exposed to night time temps in the low 50’s and upper 40’s, and occasionally lower during the peak winter months. Tom’s excellent success rate with them shows that they are responding well to this natural seasonal deep cooling cycle.
