Some, like myself, will not ship to a residence and require that it be held at the nearest hub for pick up. Others sleep at night by convincing themselves they are a business and assume the buyer is too(don't ask don't tell sort of thing); however, FedEx clearly considers a home based business a residence. After going through this process I am convinced the waiver was specifically intended for zoos, pet stores, etc. It was never intended for us hobbiest but we use the resources that are available to us as best we can.
