I mention this for a few reasons. My retics tend to pace a lot and push at the doors when they are hungry. I also have a 9 month old retic that is closer to the 5-6’ range and I feed her every 5 days or so. A 7 month old at 3.6 feet sounds small unless you have a dwarf of sorts. I know that genetics and a whole host of others things can come into play with size but I would look at your feed schedule. How often and what are you feeding your retic? For me I would feed a 3-4 foot retic small to medium rats once a week. The second thing I noticed was that sterilite tub looked small but that just might have been the picture that gave me that impression. Maybe she is also looking for more room to stretch out.
