Okay, I've never posted photos here before, so my fingers are crossed that this works. If so, here are the photos:

Top shell and size

More close up on his shell

Face and head

Bottom shell

I did notice last night, under different lighting (and when he was wet) that he does have some pattern to his body and shell. It isn't easy to see when he is dry, but I think the photos show it off fairly well.

So I'm thinking he's a RES. Can somebody confirm, or if not, please tell me what he is?
