I had posted a while back about my first attempt at having thayeri breed. The female dropped about 140 grams into the (13) eggs when the were laid. I now have 13 eggs (all appear healthy, firm, no mold, increasing in size throughout) they look like they are about to burst. I have kept the eggs at an average of about 77F but have a had a bit of a range according to my thermal scanner. Have had them as low as 73 and as high as 87 briefly - 4 hours or so (human error on the light in the cage below it). I was out of town for work when they were laid so i can only guesstimate the actual lay date. I have left them as laid - a circular pattern in a hide box with moss. However, they are in a double layer almost with some eggs above others. Is it possible for clutches in this arrangement to have prolonged hatch days? The parents are a applegate*applegate male from B Hansen and a K Casstevens produced abbott line female from M Rogers. I really hope i get a chance to see some within clutch variation. I tried to attached photos.
