I bet he kills every snake he sees...
my dobie has been bitten on the snout 3 times by copperheads.
they really dont get the message because the bite is no more painful initially than a wasp sting. only later does the real pain come and they DO NOT associate the two together.
unfortunately our dogs see us handle snakes all the time so they lose fear of them. a bought a shock collar and anytime she got near any snake in the field I shocked her for a while. now I just yell if she pursues, and reward if she keeps her distance.
