Hey folks, don't know if you know who Jim Harrison is.He is the founder of the Kentucky Reptile Zoo, in Slade Kentucky. He has one of the most extensive collections of Venomous snakes, in the world. His primary work is venom extraction for science purposes, but has the zoo open to the public.

He recently took a hit from a Bothrops viper. I don't know exactly which species of Bothrops. The major problem/concern is the tissue damage from their bite.

Jim is doing extremely well. He is not back to work yet, well as of Thursday, but intends to return soon.

Being someone who has been the recipient of antivenom, I know too well that sometimes the after affects are pretty nasty.

So please keep Jim in your prayers.
